What User dislikes about Sally's:
Food is decent if you don’t know what to expect. Oxtail dumplings had a kick but that’s from the extra ginger (I did not ask for extra ginger) and it didn’t really taste like oxtail. If you want real Caribbean food I wouldn’t recommend. Food was prepared in a pretty timely manner. The place is nice inside and the workers are friendly. Even if you aren't a fan of spicy food, Sally's is still worth a visit. The pulled pork tacos and tuna tostadas could use some improvement - the pork was hard to taste in the taco and it was soggy, and there was too much cream and seaweed on the tuna tostadas. However, the oxtail short rib dumplings and crab rangoon are consistently delicious. While I didn't order the fried rice this time, it is usually quite good too.
The flavors were fantastic but the portions were a bit small for the price.
I found the curry sauce to be delicious, but the vegetables were undercooked. I'm not a fan of hard potatoes. The oxtail dumplings did not meet my high expectations - the meat inside was a bit dry and needed more seasoning.
First time diner at Sally 's. You can dine in or dine outdoors. The wait time was for sit-down was swift. The vibe was upbeat. The meal was delicious. I had the Guyanese vegetable lo main. Holly was our hostess. She was professional, yet very friendly. I would definitely go back to Sally 's to try other dishes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
