The restaurant has a stylish 70s-themed decor with a touch of 60s flair. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious food make it a great place to dine. They also have a lovely terrace that we look forward to trying out when the weather gets warmer. The music played during Sunday brunch was nostalgic and added to the overall experience. Whether you're catching up with old friends over bottomless cocktails or making new connections while enjoying their plant-based burgers, Rustik Tavern is a fantastic spot. The jerk wings are crispy, flavorful, and spicy, making them a must-try dish.

The prices are overly high for cafeteria-style food, and the atmosphere is not welcoming with depressing music and a non-Black staff. I suggest saving your money for a better experience at another Black-owned restaurant. I was disappointed to see a drumstick priced at $24 on a plate of leaves with a side of Kraft Mac n cheese, and they didn't even have an orange slice for my drink. Overall, I did not see any signs of Black excellence at this establishment.

I walked in last minute with a friend who was visiting from Chicago and luckily there was space at the bar. I highly recommend sitting at the bar if June is the bartender. He is a powerhouse who never stops moving and treats everyone with respect. June made a lasting impression on my friend and now he wants to return with his friends on their next trip. Thank you to the entire team at Rustik Tavern!

The main complaint is there... read more We have been a couple of times and the food has been good. Today we had chicken and waffles and fish with fries as well as mimosas. The main complaint is there was no discernable part of chicken, just humks of breading with some chicken inside... almost like tempura but more crunchy. We took home leftovers but it turned out to be just more breading and very little chicken. I'd probably just get shrimp and grits like last time. That was excellent.
