What Winkelsnout doesn't like about Rider:
I would of given a much higher rating to Rider, except the service was quite slow and we had a biscuit mishap. I ordered a biscuit and it didn't come for 20 minutes. Then when it arrived, it was still uncooked in the middle! So, I sent it back and about 30 minutes later they brought me a second biscuit. Rider is a fun, versatile restaurant that lends itself to a variety of different occasionsDate, night out with friends, something more celebratory.
We had a great time at the River Crab on 4th of July. The weather was spectacular so we decided to sit outside. It was perfect - the yellow umbrellas and the blue sky and water made a serene setting. Our waitress was attentive and met all our needs. The food was excellent and we hated to leave. We will definitely be back and I have been spreading the word about this place. Watching the boats on the water is a big plus. We hope to come back for a sailboat ride and lunch now that is being offered during the week.
We wish you would return the salt bread to your Sunday Brunch menu.
