What User doesn't like about Ramen Danbo:
The restaurant had a dirty environment with many flies around the chili sauce and soy sauce on the table. We ordered two Ramen dishes, one with soft noodles and the other with extra soft noodles, but they both came with hard noodles. I don’t like soup but I seriously love this ramen. Was honestly upset I got full before finishing the last few sips and bites of noodles. Gyoza was pan fried perfectly with those little crispy edges. My gosh those noodles were great. I need to come back to try the other variations of noodles! Serving size is generous for the amount you pay. Service was great as well. Perfect place to enjoy soup weather or whenever you have an itch for ramen!
Danbo is one of the best lowkey ramen spot! The noodles were perfectly cooked every time The flavor is exquisite!!! (Tried the Classic Ramen Miso Rekka Vegan) The pork was full of flavor and well cooked (great cuts) I’ve tried other ramen spots, but never left feeling as satisfied as when I leave Danbo … Even their prices are reasonable. My fiancé and I definitely recommend ! you will not be disappointed
I have tried many ramen restaurants and the taste from Ramen Dando is really good. The ramen is not too soft or too hard. I ordered the Negi-goma ramen (with many sesame on the top) and it smells good. No wonder this restaurant is very busy even on weekday noon time.
If your a substance over style kind of person this is your vegan ramen spot. Is it over prices ? Yes. Is it too long of a wait with a ridiculous reservation system? Also yes. Do I come back any chance I get? Also yes!!! It’s the broth, the pickled veg, the UMAMI and not relying on a flashy 100 topping ramen for their vegan specials and honing in on what matters … the FLAVOR p.s. avoid takeout and delivery sometimes I have gotten the icky pork version sent to me on accident and been upset I wasn’t eating that night :
As other reviewers shared, I 'd give 5 stars if I could! We came in tonight and knew we had squeaked in just before closing time but got a friendly greeting and a 'no problem ' when we asked to get a couple of vegan ramen to go. The menu has an entire vegan section, again as others have noted, which made ordering completely stress free. We ordered a Miso Rekka Ramen and a Negi-goma Ramen both were so flavorful and delicious, I 'd happily get either again and we 'll definitely be back! Updated from previous review on 2022-05-12
