Was Anonym at Pescada New York a mag?
I have to say that the food was fantastic! I ordered a passion fruit drink that came in a large glass with crushed ice—so refreshing and enjoyable right to the last drop, unlike some places that skimp on the flavors. The service was impeccable as well. View all feedback.
What Jacob Barides dislikes about Pescada New York:
It's already frustrating when your meal is both costly and overvalued, but it becomes even more irritating when an 18% gratuity is added without my approval. The quality of the food and service doesn't come close to justifying the amount I spent. View all feedback.
Wonderful experience! I came here for my birthday dinner (huge deal) and everything was amazing. I started with a cocktail, not sure of the name but it was passion fruit, surprisingly strong yet perfectly sweetened. My friend, a sangria master, ordered the white wine sangria and loved it. My other friend ordered the nana (mint) tea and it looked so refreshing. For my main I ordered the glazed shallot salmon and I swapped out the mashed potatoes for the French fries. The portions were generous and everything was seasoned very well. FF 's were crispy yet freshly soft and salted perfectly, veggies were also seasoned well and limpy- but in a good cooked way. I liked the salmon cut bc it was thicc yet crispy in all the right places. My friends ordered the classic fettuccini alfredo and the sushi as their mains and they enjoyed their food. The service was A1 and the waitress went out of her way to make my dinner special. For dessert I couldn 't order anything containing dairy and after she let us know everything contained dairy, she returned with a cup of whipped cream (a puppaccino iykiyk) with a candle! Even though I couldn 't eat it, she wanted my friends to still be able to sing HBD to me and I thought that was the sweetest gesture. That is now the energy I expect for all kosher dairy restaurants. I hope my friends tipped her well bc bday girl never pays. Décor is bright, 'modern ', aqua water vibes and next time I return it 'll be for brunch/lunch bc the menu looks bomb.
The food was amazing and full of flavor, and the service was top-notch. I would absolutely come back!
The food was incredible—it's difficult to express just how delicious it was! My partner and I enjoyed the best dinner we've ever had. Lior, you are truly a culinary artist!
This kosher restaurant, supervised by Rabbi Babad, is a dairy establishment located in the Midwood area of Brooklyn. They offer a wide-ranging menu that includes fish, pizza, and brunch items such as eggs and shakshuka. The food is quite impressive—one of the best dairy restaurants I’ve experienced. The service is excellent as well. It’s not far from the Avenue M subway station, but finding street parking can be quite challenging. Overall, it’s a great casual dining spot, and I’m looking forward to returning soon.
For my main course, I chose the glazed shallot salmon and swapped the mashed potatoes for French fries. The portions were generous, and everything was seasoned to perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, seasoned just right. The vegetables were well-seasoned and cooked to a tender consistency, which I appreciated. I loved the salmon cut—it was thick and crispy in all the right spots. My friends had the classic fettuccini Alfredo and sushi for their mains, and they enjoyed their meals as well. The service was top-notch, with the waitress going above and beyond to make my dinner feel special. Since I couldn’t have anything dairy for dessert, she informed us about the dairy content in the available options but then returned with a cup of whipped cream (a "puppuccino," if you know, you know) complete with a candle! Even though I couldn’t eat it, she wanted my friends to still sing happy birthday to me, and I thought that was such a sweet gesture. This is the kind of service I expect at all kosher dairy restaurants now. I really hope my friends tipped her well because, after all, the birthday girl never pays! The décor is bright and modern, featuring a lovely aqua water vibe. Next time I visit, I’m definitely coming for brunch or lunch because the menu looks amazing!
