They asked us if... read more We spent the morning at the NY Aquarium and then walked around Coney Island. When it was time to go we stopped at the Parkview Diner for lunch. They asked us if we had been vaccinated, which is fine — and yes, we have been. We were seated in a booth and our server was great and checked on us several times while we were there. Food was good and coffee was refilled consistently. My wife had an omelette and my daughter had some kind of chicken sandwich. I had the beef gyro and it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and our time there. Glad we found a diner to stop at on our way back to Jersey. We were beat and didn't need anything fancy. The parking lot is small and a bit tight so be extra careful getting in and out of your parking space!

I got treated so warmly when I walked in like I w... read more I visited this diner for the first time today and I don't know why it took me so long to check this place out. I got treated so warmly when I walked in like I was a regular customer that frequently dined here. The service I got from the waitstaff was great and the food was good. You seem to get a lot for your monies worth and in my opinion I think the prices are reasonable. The place overall is immaculately clean, but the bathroom seems a tad small. A major plus is that they have a nice sized parking lot so you don't have to look around for street parking. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area.
