I stopped by for tea and dessert with my friend after brunch. Their matcha latte was good, but the real winner is their pumpkin olive oil cake. Its hard to find good quality olive oil cake but ovenly's satisfied my craving.I thought price was reasonable for the neighborhood. View all feedback.
What Zachary Thomas doesn't like about Ovenly Williamsburg:
This place used to be 5/5, but there are now two issues:(1) They have a new electronic expresso machine, and coffee doesn’t taste as good? My friend swears it’s worse, and I’ve had one and it seems true — not worth $6.50(2) Today I was charged $9.55 for one latte by accident? The barista was nice enough to comp me a scone, but why did this happen? Seems like the payments system is broken… View all feedback.
I like salty chocolate brownie and have eaten twice. Their staffs are nice also. Just one negative point is my stomach got upset after I ate this brownie both of times. I want to eat it again but I have controversial feeling in my mind. ?
Best brownie I have ever had and I get brownies often from different bakeries! Worth going out of my way for

If you 're a bride and would like a wedding cake on your wedding day, do NOT go with Ovenly. You will regret it. I was not the type of bride who perseverated over every tiny detail. The things i cared most about were my dress and my cake. I am a hobbyist baker and am VERY picky, and I 've never had a wedding cake I actually enjoyed, so for my wedding i wanted to do something special and get a cake from a bakery whose cakes i know I like. I interviewed several vendors before deciding on Ovenly with my family and fiancé. I spent $150 on a handmade cake topper, which I displayed in our home until the wedding. All this to say--I was by no means a persnickety bride, but this was a really important detail to me. I began the process of getting my cake months in advance of my wedding, where about 200 people were to be in attendance. I spent $1,450 for a 3-tiered cake which would serve 95 (this was $950 of the $1450) and a handful of smaller cakes that my venue would cut in the back to plate up for the rest of my guests. I emailed Ovenly 4 days before the wedding to confirm and they confirmed that everything was all set.So imagine my abject horror when I arrive at my venue and my WEDDING CAKE isn 't there. My venue and florist did their best to make the handful of smaller cakes that Ovenly DID send look very nice, but they were separate and not tiered. The venue also had to stretch those handful of smaller cakes to feed all 180 guests, since the 3-TIERED WEDDING CAKE WAS NEVER SENT.I called Ovenly the day after my wedding and they quickly made me financially whole by refunding the $950 for the tiered cake and apologized for the oversight. While that is appreciated, Ovenly probably doesn 't know that I 'm an attorney, and reimbursing me for the tiered cake is the absolute bare-bones minimum action that they could have taken to prevent me from suing them. While they can give me my money back, they can 't go back in time and give me a wedding cake on my wedding day, which is something you can 't put a price on. Our pictures will forever show us cutting into a single tiny 8-inch cake rather than the beautiful 3-tiered cake I 'd been dreaming of for years. $950 doesn 't even begin to reimburse me for that.
Ovenly never disappoints! I tried the lemon brown butter shortbread this time and WOW. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect amount of sweet without being overwhelming. Cookies and cupcakes are always outstanding too. Great service here. It’s small inside at this location, but there was no wait when we were there on a Sunday morning.
