What User doesn't like about Osteria Brooklyn:
Really atrocious service. When we arrived at the restaurant we were initially told that they did not have a table for us even though we made a reservation (and were on time! . Waiter poured water into my wine glass and never replaced it. Food took forever to come out and was just okay. Several other diners around us also seemed to be unhappy with the service and food. Loved the food and ambience and service from the cakes for Dessert:
Excellent Italian cuisine. The cook is a charming host and real gentleman.
Eating was amazing, but it was so hot! New York Summer can be hard, but we hoped that some A/C sit inside or at least a transverse breeze. I loved the red wine-filuccine and all the truffle accusations. Will return, but hope for cooler weather!
Excellent food. The owner is phenomenal and made us feel at home on our first visit. Will be going back again, and again, and again. Most importantly the food was outstanding. Everything was delicious.
