This restaurant is wonderful. It's truly a hidden gem.

Lovely spot to relax, sit down, and enjoy a cup of coffee.

I had an average experience here on Saturday morning. the one who works, appeared to be extremely roaring, the work of at least two people. the texture of the mandel croissants I ordered was not correct - very chew at the ends, as far as it hurts my mouth to chew (odd, in consideration of the rest of the reviews that this place lukeding.) I carried my little dog in the inner, which is a kind of unspoken rule of the park slope area. the barista told me that dogs are not allowed inside, okay, good, yes- but after further observation there were no signs that indicate such signs. the outside seats are very nice, but the overall experience was really missing.

I had just come to the realization that all croissants in greater Park Slope are more or less the same, different shapes perhaps but basically the same taste components at every bakery and cafe from north to south. And then it happened, I had a fresh OS croissant, the dreamiest blend of sweet to savory, dense and light and I couldn't get that flavor profile out of my mind, no competition.
