I love falafel and have tried many different places including Taim, Mamouns, King of Falafel, Queen of Falafel, Dar 525, and others. However, Oasis is my favorite. View all feedback.

What Arielle H dislikes about Oasis:
I was surprised by how dry and flavorless my chicken kebabs were! All the good reviews I really thought this place would be amazing but it wasn’t a winner for me. Kebabs were dry and I ordered 2 skewers for around $15 and they gave me about 7 tiny dry and seasonless cubes! I was so disappointed! I should of gotten the Chicken Shwarma instead ?The owner asked how is the chicken dry with juices on the plate? To be clea... View all feedback.

The restaurant offers very clearly marked vegan options and provides a great discount for customers who pay in cash. I love this place!

Okay, let's be honest, dining out in NYC can be extremely expensive. That's where this place comes in. I'm not a huge fan of eating at meat-centric restaurants, but I'll make an exception every now and then, especially when the prices are as affordable as they are here. They have clearly labeled vegan options and the cashier was knowledgeable about what is vegan and what is not. The lentil soup was tasty but a bit too salty for my liking. The falafel was delicious and not dry like at other places. The portion sizes are good, and I have to mention the incredibly low prices once again! The atmosphere is laid-back, with no table service but plenty of seating available. I will definitely return here next time I'm in the area and feeling hungry.
