Service was mediocre, as our waiter was a little rude and there were several spills on the table, and the restaurant is quite cramped, and the food is quite overpriced, but the experience wasn’t bad. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $30–50 View all feedback.
This place is an awesome restaurant that serves up incredibly delicious portions of Italian food, old school service and a vibe that feels authentically warm and grand! Just wow!
A wonderful cash only spot. The pasta was really tasty and our waiter was attentive and helpful. As an aside, their old fashioned is non-traditional with smashed cherries. It was okay but not what I expected. I’d absolutely go back for their pasta and perhaps not their cocktails.
Cash only, no reservations. This place is such a vibe. Great food, not at all rushed. We got pastas, a couple salads (radishes and butter which sounded weird and was weird), and garlic bread. And wine.

Noodle Pudding. Be honest — you’re thinking Asian cuisine, right? Siiiike! It’s actually Italian, and not just any Italian — we’re talking Ischia-style comfort food straight from the Campania region of southern Italy. A clever play on the owner’s last name and a neighborhood gem that’s been feeding Downtown Brooklyn since 1995. Let’s talk food, because wow. We kicked things off with stuffed zucchini flowers, bruschetta, and octopus — each one better than the last. My main? Shrimp risotto with corn and zucchini flowers. Hands down, the BEST risotto I’ve ever had. Creamy, flavorful, perfection in every bite. But dessert… let’s just say the basil panna cotta deserves its own standing ovation. Light, refreshing, and absolutely unforgettable. I promise, you won’t find a panna cotta this good anywhere else. A word to the wise: come hungry (portions are generous) and come prepared (it’s cash only). Oh, and did I mention this was my birthday dinner? Chef Tony, you made it one for the books. Grazie!
