The restaurant was noisy and the service was very slow. The food was okay, but not exceptional. With so many other dining options in the area, we have no intention of going back. View all feedback.
What Claire doesn't like about Nightingale Nine:
The ambience is nice and the service friendly but the food was quite bad. Not to mention very steep price especially for Vietnamese food. The duck noodle was bland and greasy and was a struggle to finish. The sprig rolls were just ok. And the coffee is just watered American coffee with some sprig of spice and totally overpriced. Will not be coming back for sure. View all feedback.
They have a wonderful meal. there is only 1 thing on the whole menu that is not gluten-free, which makes the dinge very exciting:
Surprisingly good pho. I had the beef and my friend had that huh and both were excellent!
Each dish is exceptionally tasty and offers unique aromas and taste combinations
Nightingale 9 does not disappoint. Perfect, welcoming, helpful but not intrusive service, healthy ingredients, creative dishes, moderate portions neither too large or too small. Favorite dishes gotham greens salad, spring rolls, vegetarian fried rice, scallion pancakes, coconut rice pudding. They have creatively incorporated their former southern US style for a unique spin on Vietnamese dishes.
Nightingale Nine never disappoints. Great food and great staff. I wish the prices were similar to those in Vietnam, but then again, it's NYC.
