The spicy schnitzel was sooo good. The latkes was also great.
Excellent Reuben, the best I ever had. Get it with the smoked meat. It is a lot of food.

read moreMile End Delicatessen in Boerum Hill offers a mix of hits and misses according to customer reviews. While some patrons rave about the delicious hot dogs and sandwiches like the Spicy Schnitzel and Smoked Meat, others find disappointment in dishes like the matzo ball soup lacking fluffiness or hash with too few meat pieces. Despite this, the corned beef Reuben and poutines receive high praise, along with the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The brunch menu is a standout, with fantastic hash, omelettes, and Devoción coffee. While there is an occasional issue with rude staff, most customers feel welcome and enjoy their dining experience, making Mile End a recommended spot for a flavorful meal in Brooklyn.

I've been looking for another big smoked meat place since my taste buds were browned in Montreal for years at Schwartz Deli. I thought Mike End.
I was really in the mood for a bagel but was sucked in by the sound of the leo: touch, smoked laughs, caramelized wobble. it comes as a plate.
These were some of the best latkes I have had in quite some time and smoked meat is hard to come by outside of Montreal.
Stopped in for brunch with a group on a recent trip to NYC.
