Consistently one of the best lunch spots in Brooklyn, plus an upscale delicatessen bodega, and a late night bar. Luch specials (e.g. half sandwich soup) have always been a great way to get reasonable prices, and over the past months Mek?s has added evenmore daily specials to the menu that bring out a relaxed crowd at various times (see pics for specials)

This restaurant has everything you could want - a selection of beers, unique grocery items, and delicious food. The duck bahn mi is a standout dish, and the babka poppers and bread pudding are indulgent treats worth trying. The outdoor seating area in the back is cozy and inviting. They also have a great variety of beers that are constantly changing. It's a popular spot, so try to visit during less busy times if you can.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. Every dish was amazing and made me exclaim, "Wow, that's really good!" The burger, porchetta, roast beef, and Mac and cheese with porchetta were all delicious. The only disappointment was the pork belly or caviar on top of the potato dish. It was more visually appealing than tasty. A plain white potato is bland, so perhaps replacing it with a sweet potato or a whole empanada would make it much more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.
