Was Dakotah Eddy at Mayfield a mag?
The mushroom ravioli was fantastic, and the Brussels sprouts as well as the wings were perfect starters. I was sad to learn they no longer have the spoon bread on the menu, but was happy to order some dishes that will be new favorites. The place is small and narrow, but I liked the high top tables across from the bar. Playlist is great, too! View all feedback.
What Shafina I dislikes about Mayfield:
This place is quite average, and the prices are unreasonable given the quality and portion sizes. The cake was tasty, but it came in four tiny pieces that hardly felt sufficient... View all feedback.

I did not like their coffee, little weak for me. The food made up for it. I got salmon Benedict which was great. Perfect pouched eggs fresh side salad and crispy potatoes. Great outdoor patio in the back. Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Good American cuisine done well, with an elevated twist. Five of us were able to make a last minute Friday night reservation and get a spot at 20:00. We got one main each and it was a perfect amount of food. I really loved the variety of vegetarian dishes available, including some great pasta dishes and salads. The cauliflower custard was really unique, but so good. The brussels sprout salad with beetroot that accompanied the custard was amazing! Service: Dine in Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian entree options including a few pastas, salads, and the cauliflower custard.

It's... Fine. I've been going here for years. The service is and never has been great. I used to come for the fries (great fries) and oysters but it looks like they changed the fry recipe (they went from breaded twice-fried to what looks like boxedOre Ida fries, a huge downgrade). Probably won't be coming back any time soon, unfortunately. Bring back the old fries!
Great service. The smoked reuben and fries were good. Especially for a to-go order. But the onion to lettuce ratio in the salad was 1:1. Probably more onions than lettuce. See photo
Excellent food and service. Very talented chef with impeccable attention to detail. The presentations are delicate, thoughtful, exciting, enticing, and so much more. Engaging staff and service. This restaurant has a welcoming vibe.
Spareribs with fried pickles were really tender and tasty. Oyster po boy could have used a little more bite, but was pretty solid. Beer selection put together thoughtfully. Both desserts we tried were excellent: olive oil cake with compote was light onsugar which allowed the fruit and citrus to take front and center; the donuts were cooked perfectly and were very rich, as youwould expect by the description. Service was very good. Attentive and thoughtful but not pushy.
What a gem! Mayfield is the perfect date spot--dark and cozy, slightly upscale but still comfy, easy to get a table, tasty and affordable food and drinks. Started with martinis, oysters and a kale salad (divine! , and shared a fried chicken sandwich andpatty melt. Both the sandwiches were enormous (we could've shared just one , incredible, and came with delicious fries andsalad. Rounded out the night with some of the olive oil cake, don't miss out on this for dessert!! Impeccable service, perfectvibes, and the check for all that food was under $90 (unheard of! with leftovers to spare. My new favorite date spot!!

Mayfield is a reliable spot in Crown Heights. You can often secure a table by arriving early, though they do accept reservations. It’s also a fantastic place to sit at the bar if you’re dining alone.

Visited several days ago with friends,I took cuban sandwich , taste was very good, big size, price wasn’t cheap, but also not expensive , marked on a map, visit again in future
The carrot and kale salad... Just great.. not a fried oyster fan.. so I had the pasta with fennel sausage and broccoli rabe. Best ever eaten.. a favorite of mine that they mailed.. also tried mushroom ravioli.. beautiful deep shroomy taste!
This place is great! The food is flavorful and they have a good amount of offerings for their menu. I ordered the omelette for brunch with a paloma and it was like heaven in my mouth! I got my omlette with Swiss, caramelized onions, and mushrooms and it is the best combo! The waiter did forget some things as I was part of a large group but overall I was very pleased! Will go back again!
