Been here twice already—great place to get brunch!! Compared to the rest of Bay Ridge it definitely has more of a Williamsburg hipster vibe to it… except the prices are a lot lower than getting brunch at Williamsburg. I highly recommend the brunch burger Wait staff were also very friendly. Try to come a bit later in the day if coming on a weekend… there’s quite a bit of a wait during peak brunch hours. What Food Wanderer doesn't like about Matter:
This was my first visit, and I had a great experience. I especially enjoyed the drinks. I tried the mac and cheese; it was decent, but I prefer it to be cheesier. I really liked the wings, although I wasn't a fan of the blue cheese. Overall, I would definitely come back. View all feedback.
I've been coming here since they first opened, and it's definitely the best coffee around. With the new menu, it’s even more exceptional, as the food is fantastic—better than most restaurants in the neighborhood.
What a charming and cozy place! The staff is kind and friendly. I only stopped by for a cappuccino, which was excellent, but I can't wait to return and sample the rest of the menu!
This is the best coffee shop in Bay Ridge, without a doubt. Each barista is truly exceptional.
Matter is a great space for enjoying your morning (or afternoon coffee. The grumpy coffee is as are the cheddar jalapeño biscuits
Just went here for the first time. Super yummy almond milk latte with no sweetener necessary and friendly barista.
