Linda's - Brooklyn
Linda's
Description
Linda's restaurant offers a taste of Guyanese Creole cuisine, boasting standout dishes like roti, curry chicken, and pastries, which are highly praised. However, the dining experience is marred by inconsistent food quality and customer service issues, with several patrons reporting overpriced and underwhelming items. Complaints include small portions, incorrect orders, and food safety concerns. Despite the frustrations, many customers remain loyal, appreciating the unique flavors and hoping for improved service. As a takeout venue, it faces challenges balancing in-person and delivery orders, yet it continues to attract diners seeking authentic Caribbean fare.

I highly recommend Linda's restaurant for their delicious roti, Curry Chicken, Puri, black pudding, white pudding, and tasty pastries. It is definitely worth a visit.
The Mac and cheese was tasty and the White Pudding was well seasoned and enjoyable. However, the Fishcake was extremely small, overly salty, and dried out. I was really disappointed.
The mauby and sorrel were good, but the overall food experience was just average and overpriced. The cassava balls were very small, and the herring and bake did not come with spinach or much flavor. The pinetart was underbaked, the fish cake was tiny and not worth the $3, and the curry goat was mainly bones.
This isn't the black pudding I'm familiar with. In Caribbean culture, seasoned rice is not considered pudding. Please rename the dish.
I pass by this restaurant every day but had never ventured inside until a friend recommended it when I mentioned my craving for roti skins. I decided to order the roti skins (not the buss up shot), but they were completely undercooked. I don’t think I'll be going back again. I tried to upload a photo, but unfortunately, I couldn't.
