What Rumpelstiltskin dislikes about Leaf:
I was excited to go to this place. It looked simple and nice. I finally went and in fact it is simple and nice. The decoration is not too blunt and food isn’t either to the pallet. Simple food is good, and I love me a good bite of something fresh, but I do have to say that for these prices and for the experience this place seeks to offer, food is rather plain and topical and doesn’t really offer much taste. Don’t get... View all feedback.

Great food and service. It’s a relief to be able to eat healthy while eating out.
Owner tired to over charge me with card payment. Used cash and owner was still trying to short change me. Acted like he didn’t want to mix my order. Other worker was rude also. As he was mixing the order was very light on the chicken. Looked away for a quick second and turn back to see other customer looking at the food and than me. I don’t know what was done to my food when I turned away but would not be back. Update to response: No matter the role of the guy who took my order he first told me 15 after showing me a blank screen with no break down of the bill on it beside 15.00 displayed. Than when I said paying cash it became 13.07. The salad I chose was the bacon ranch and menu said 12 but he charged me 12.48 plus tax. I have a 20 bill and my change was 6.93 cent. I saw it was hard for the cashier to count .93 cent so I gave him 0.07 cent so in total 20.07. My change would be 7.00 but he was still confused and handed me 6.00 and was still holding the extra 0.07 cent in his left hand and 0.93 cent in the right and looking at me. I hand to explain the 0.07 cent means you can give me a solid 1.00 back instead of the 0.93 cents. He stared at me and put all ! the change in the draw and that’s when I had to show the math on my phone calculator that he still needed to give me back a 1.00 because I handed over 20.07. Asked for a receipt but he said it’s not necessary. Went to the girl and told her my order. Stood there as the two workers debated who was going to mix my salad. Your workers were not happy my order even though I paid like anyone else. And yes compared the scoops I watched the female place into bowls versus my bowel when it came time to being mix my salad was definitely lighter. I asked for cranberries to top off the salad and was told extra .50 cent. I said no thank you and got my salad and left. In terms of rude: I stood there and had to watch your employees politely argue to make my salad. Imagine paying and walking over to the employee mixing the salad and being told he took your order so he’ll mix it. And than having that employee walk away from in front of you and take another customer’s order and mix it. Leaving you standing there confused as to what is wrong and if your sheer presence is disturbing them. I will not be back and spend money somewhere that made me feel Uncomfortable just to be served. Let alone have to play math teacher.
Nestled in a charming yet simple ambiance, Leaf presents a promising dining experience with a focus on healthy, unpretentious cuisine. While many patrons appreciate the welcoming staff and laid-back atmosphere, opinions diverge on the food's execution. Some express dissatisfaction with flavor and portion sizes, feeling that certain dishes don’t justify the price. Meanwhile, others rave about robust flavors and generous servings, particularly enjoying the warm bowls and salads. The restaurant's commitment to customer service shines through, with staff quick to address issues, although packaging and delivery consistency could use improvements. Overall, Leaf stands as a potential gem, still finding its footing in the local dining scene.

I went here for a work day lunch, and I'd definitely make it a regular spot when I go to the area. Leaf has several seating options and so many great healthy options. Overall the vibe was great, great music, decent pricing, cute decor. I went for a salad and the prices were comparable to that of Sweet Green and Chopt, and were also good sized. I got their roasted sesame tofu salad which was decent and actually was able to save it for a second meal because of for big the portion was. The only downside was that the soup (what I really wanted) was $10 for roughly 16 ounces which I thought was on the pricey side. Otherwise, great spot and I'd come back.
Eat at your own risk! I used to love eating here until it gave me and my partner food poisoning in June 2021. I'll spare you the grisly details but I'm 100% sure it was the bowl I got from here that gave us the sickness. Delicious and healthy food other than that though!
Had a large order for a film crew of 12. Cristal was very accommodating and went above and beyond— she labeled every bowl with each crew member’s name, which was very helpful! Thanks!
I am absolutely shocked at the portion I received from this place. Nine dollars for chicken noodle soup, and it arrived in a cup like it were a side????Absolutely ridiculous.
Update to my previous review: When I placed my order, the employee initially quoted me a price of $15. However, upon mentioning that I would be paying in cash, the total dropped to $13.07. The menu listed the bacon ranch salad at $12, but I was charged $12.48 plus tax. When I handed the cashier a $20 bill, he struggled to give me change, initially providing $6. I had to point out that I was owed a total of $7, since I had given him $20. Despite my explanation, the cashier appeared confused and still only gave me $6, keeping the extra 7 cents. I used my phone's calculator to clarify that I was actually owed $1 in change. I requested a receipt but was told it wasn’t necessary. As I waited for my order, I witnessed a disagreement between two staff members about who would mix my salad, which made me feel unwelcome and unappreciated as a customer. When I finally received my salad, I noticed it was considerably smaller than other portions being served around me. I also asked for cranberries as a topping, only to be informed there would be an extra charge of 50 cents. I declined and left the restaurant feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the overall service. In the end, I will not be returning to this establishment and will instead take my business to a place where I feel valued and respected as a customer.

I work at the hospital nearby and visit this restaurant for a salad almost every day. It's a great spot for salads with very friendly staff.
This is my second experience ordering from this restaurant. The first order was delivered with care, but this time, the food arrived in a container that was upside down and poorly handled in the bag. I called to express my concerns and request a replacement, but no one answered the phone, so I opted for a refund. The lid wasn’t secure, and the entire container was placed upside down in the bag—who does that? The management of this situation was very disappointing. The food is great, but they really need to take more time to package it properly. UPDATE: To the owner—please don't underestimate your own establishment. I am merely pointing out the need for better food packaging; this has nothing to do with the delivery itself. How you present the food affects how it is received. Speaking negatively about customers will only drive them away and hurt your business in the long run. There’s no need for personal attacks; it comes across as unprofessional, childish, and quite frankly, embarrassing. Instead, focus on learning from mistakes to improve, especially since you're still new. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I ordered a salad with avocado and strawberries, but when I got home, those toppings were missing from my order. It's frustrating to pay for extras that aren't included in the dish.
I went with my boyfriend to give this place a try. The pricing seems a bit high for what are essentially simple salads and wraps, and the add-ons are quite expensive as well. The iced tea I ordered was honestly terrible—just like a cup of cold water with a sour taste and no sweetness at all. I really don't think I'll return to this restaurant. The ambiance is cute and cozy, but the menu seems to cater more to vegetarians and probably vegans.
I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant as it seemed to have a simple and pleasant ambiance. When I finally dined there, I found that the decor was indeed simple and pleasant. The food wasn't overly complicated, which I usually appreciate, but I have to admit that for the prices and the atmosphere they are trying to create, the dishes were lacking in flavor and interest. While the food was decent, it didn't really stand out to me. The place itself was charming, but the food didn't leave me feeling eager to return. Hopefully, this restaurant is just at the beginning of its journey to becoming a standout dining destination.

Excellent healthy, tasty food at a reasonable price. And the place itself is very pleasant to spend time in plenty of plants and lots of natural light. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Price per person: $10–20
Leaf is right downstairs from me and the staff is always friendly and nice. Great quiet atmosphere to have a phonecall. They handle customer service very well. My autistic son loves to practice buying things hereby because of how kind they are. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
