La Vara offers an exceptional culinary experience and is truly my favorite restaurant in NYC. Before the pandemic, we used to celebrate my birthday here every year, but we hadn't visited in over three years. We had high expectations for our return, and it did not disappoint! La Vara is a neighborhood gem with a comfortable and easy atmosphere and absolutely delicious tapas! Everything was delicious but my absolute favorite was the duck breast! Wow! Looking forward to going again.
Amazing dishes, thoughtful presentation and timing. Wait staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating.
