Kogane Ramen - Brooklyn
Kogane Ramen
Description
Nestled in a cozy spot, this ramen restaurant has received mixed reviews that highlight both culinary delights and service shortcomings. Diners rave about the rich, flavorful tonkotsu broth and impeccably cooked noodles, with some dishes like takoyaki and kimchi fried rice standing out. However, the service can be hit or miss; some patrons reported inattentive wait staff and cleanliness concerns due to small flies. Despite these issues, many left satisfied, particularly praising the delicious ramen and warm ambiance. Overall, it remains a worthwhile stop for ramen lovers, albeit with a few areas needing improvement.

On Friday July 21, 2023 12:30PM the Female server with black hair with no glasses was forcefully grabbing the to-go bag from me when I requested to sit so I can also order dessert . The female server was NOT pleasant. The serve did NOT listen to what I had to say . She kept talking over me . I wouldn't recommend coming if this server is hereThe cook was very good and did a very good job
Food was amazing and the tea was good too. The Tonkotsu Ramen bowl had great broth. It had a great mix of saltiness and flavor. I would 100% recommend this Ramen restaurant.Food: 5/5
Cozy little Ramen shop. Ordered Shoyu and Yuki Ramen, both delicious. Also sweet potatoes fries come with a zesty orange sauce.. YUM.Food: 5/5
In a cute but restaurant-light neighborhood, where most local options are brunch-heavy or bakeries, Kogane is a gem. Small spot, adorned by wood walls and benches, super close to subway, with great food and service. Seaweed salad Spicy Miso Ramen were both great and staff was attentive. Menu has a ton of options (from ramen to kid-friendly favorites like fries wings), including many beers sakes. High chairs available for the little ones. Priced for enjoyment without regret. Will definitely be back! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Nice ramen shop in the area, 2nd location with first locate on 14 8th? Much more traditional and better than the branch of michelin rated ramen shop closer to dumbo that closed down. Trypical menu selection got Takoyaki and Tonkotsu. Pleasant wait staff and cozy place, nice spot to grab a bite after hanging out at brooklyn bridge piers. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
