Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews, with some enjoying the food while others found it disappointing. Highlights included the shrimp and grits and the lobster mac, but there were complaints about undercooked fried chicken and burnt wings. The service was generally good, and the atmosphere was described as cozy. However, recent visitors were disappointed to discover that the restaurant had closed permanently. Overall, the general consensus was that the food was decent, but there were inconsistencies in quality.
Well first I want to say during the COVID pandemic this is one of the very few places open for dine in with lovely outdoor seating so that's already a plus.
Delicious foodTheir takeout has been excellent during the pandemic, and I really enjoyed my sit-down experience when I visited before.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. We enjoyed dishes such as lobster Mac, crab cakes, and chicken and waffles. Although this visit took place 11 months ago, we were looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, we recently found out that the restaurant has closed permanently. It's a shame as the food was top-notch.
I am disappointed to share that the restaurant I was eager to visit in California was closed when I arrived, so I had to double back during my trip to Brooklyn from March 9th-13th. It was a real shame as I had heard great things about their top-notch food.
The food was decent. I thought the meats were too heavily seasoned and a bit salty. My friend ordered fried chicken, but it was undercooked. Overall, I would give this restaurant a rating of 3.5 out of 5.
