Joya - Brooklyn
Joya
Description
Joya, a Thai restaurant in Brooklyn, has been a longtime favorite for many patrons. However, recent reviews have shown a decline in food quality and authenticity. Some diners expressed disappointment with dishes lacking flavor, overcooked items, and even finding hair in their food. Despite these negative experiences, some diners still appreciate the overall ambiance, service, and certain standout dishes such as pad Thai and spicy pad see yu. While there are mixed reviews, Joya still has its loyal fans who cherish the delicious food and reasonable prices, making it a hidden gem worth a visit for a satisfying meal.

I got the tofu pad see yue and the coconut mango sticky rice. My favorite part was the hot sauces. The tofu had a great texture. Only thing would be a deeper (fresher? flavor in the noodles because they mostly tasted pretty sweet with wok flavor. I wouldgo back just for the coconut mango sticky rice!
