We are a West African restaurant specializing in Senegalese cuisine. Serving the community for almost 20 years, we have transformed our restaurant into a Taste of Senegal. Customers join us at our table as family and feast on our traditional dishes. Our most popular dish is the Senegalese national dish called Tiebou Jeun - baked fish, jollof rice, and veggies. Our jollof rice stands out with its broken rice, jasmine flavor, and cooked into a deep tomato sauce. Our cooks are passionate about cooking, making our dishes unique. Very nice staff, loved the décor and it was a clean environment. I ordered ginger tea and it was so fresh...straight from the root. Then I had the lamb yassa. So flavorful, fresh and tender. It was amazing. I'll definitely be back.

This was one of the restaurants that I missed the most when I moved from New York two days before the 911 attacks. Tiebou djieun I just butchered the spelling, but get the fish with Joloff rice and vegetables. I would travel back to Brooklyn to visit this spot.
First time trying Senegalese food, and WOW, I am so excited to continue ordering more from what this restaurant has to offer! Today I tried the Mafe Yapp with jollof rice. Perfectly cooked rice, tender lamb, deeply rich flavors in both. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
