I can't help but feel that this place might be jinxed. I was initially reluctant to try Jarro due to the unfortunate past of the restaurant that occupied this space before. However, we decided to take a chance and go for Sunday brunch, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. I ordered the crispy boar belly with egg and cheese on a roll, accompanied by a mixed green salad with a delightful dressing. My friend had a goat cheese and mushroom omelette, which was tasty (though my boyfriend thought it could have used a bit more cheese). The decor is cool and modern, with a hint of cheeky charm. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely consider returning.
Update: This place closed in Spring 2014. I think this location is cursed. I was hesitant to go in to Jarro because of the bad reputation of the restaurant that was here before. We took the plunge and stopped in for a Sunday brunch. We were impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive.
