High Lua Vietnamese Kitchen - Brooklyn
High Lua Vietnamese Kitchen
Description
Nestled in Williamsburg, this Vietnamese eatery pairs attentive, friendly service with artful plating and a charming, photogenic interior. Standouts include a vibrant tofu bowl, crisp summer/spring rolls, grilled pork banh mi and satisfying vermicelli; bun bo hue pleases spice lovers. Drinks tend toward sweet—kumquat iced tea and Viet coffee are popular—and takeout holds up well. Pho receives mixed reviews for seasoning and consistency, and a small number of diners reported post-meal illness. Prices are reasonable for the neighborhood.

I’m not used to write the review, but this time I should review of this restaurant. Food and Vietnam traditional coffee was very good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I visited this restaurant based on the positive reviews. However, my friend and I were disappointed to find that the pho soup was quite bland compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we’ve tried. On the bright side, the service was attentive. Unfortunately, the worst part of the experience came after the meal. I experienced a severe stomachache and felt nauseated, forcing me to rush to the bathroom. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant.
