High Grade Coffee - Brooklyn
High Grade Coffee
Description
Tucked near Prospect Park in Flatbush, this tiny, art-lined coffee shop has neighborhood charm and affordable lattes, but mixed execution. While the walls and location invite visits, customers note inconsistent coffee quality, limited pastry options, sporadic hours, and an inaccessible restroom. Occasional maintenance and service lapses — from a lingering odor and wobbly tables to curt staff — undercut its cozy potential despite reward-card perks.

Coffee is fine, however, their hours say 8:30 to 3:30 on Saturdays. I passed by at 2:50 and they were closed? This is the second time this happens, if youre changing your hours just change them in Google.
The coffee was below average and barely lukewarm, and the barista seemed uninterested in her work.
Burnt and ridiculously watered down iced coffee for 5 bucks. every time i go there it’s just more and more disappointing. never going back. wish we had a better coffee shop in the neighborhood.
It's kinda heartbreaking ... The place has so much potential, it's so cozy and perfectly located, however once you go inside there's a STRONG smell to scented trash bag (or similarly)... And maintenance lacks attention to detail... Not sure what else it is, but it's not as inviting to stay there as it could... The table's stems shake no matter if you try to stabilize level their feet. Not super helpful when u have a full cup of coffee on the table! BTW, there's some cool art framed paintings on the walls, very nice!
