Halal Xpress - Brooklyn

Not worth it. I've been here about 4 times in the past two weeks, and my experience has been less than standard. Twice they messed up my order (overcharged one, made the wrong thing for the second).The food itself is hardly better than your average Chinese take-out. In some cases, it's even worse. Sometimes the Chicken and Broccoli has too little sauce and tastes mostly oily, other times it has too much sauce and you can't taste anything else. The consistency of the chicken is also off sometimes. The Lo Mein was solid. The Fried Rice was awful; not only was it not the kind I ordered, but it looked and tasted so bland, like it wasn't even stir-fried.Maybe my standards are too high. I have experienced No Pork Halal Kitchen back in the day, in its prime. But I expect something that is halal to be a higher standard. And I am ok with halal establishments charging extra for that standard. But here, I don't know what I'm paying extra for, because even non-halal food is better than this. I should've trusted the negative reviews.

I like this a lot. This is the best authentic chinses restaurant in Brooklyn. The food is really good. There service is amazing and portion is very good. The store is neat and clean. This is my 7th time coming from New Jersey. They do also catering orders. Their best dish is lunch box. I highly recommend to try out their food.Food: 5/5

The food here is a hit every time. I’ve been here several times and my kids are picky eaters but they love the food. The spicy chicken wings are really good.

Very bad unclean and the server they don't even know what's they serving.Sorry to say that but their food quality was so bad. I wouldn't recommend anybody to be there.
