Full tables and very busy take out indicated promising food. It was excellent! The injera was perfect, the vegetarian selections and variety of Ethiopian dishes delicious. We have a new Brooklyn favorite. It is not a large restaurant yet.

Delicious vegan dishes in a beautiful environment. This is a great date spot. Order the tasting menu for two.

I’m sad to write a bad review about this place. The flavors were so good but the food came out cold. I’m sure if the dish was served at the proper temperature it would have been a great. However, it was very apparent that they made the dishes in advance and tried to microwave them before serving. I’m not that upset about the advance preparation but giving us cold and badly warmed food ruined the experience. This was especially disappointing given the high price we paid for it. In addition, the service was almost non-existent and when we told our waitress the food was cold she didn’t apologize or seem too alarmed by it. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

It was my first time ever having Ethiopian. The pancake was bitter and the vegetarian dishes were cold and under seasoned. The serving size was small for the cost. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Price per person: $30–50
