Gemelli - Brooklyn
Gemelli
Description
Gemelli, nestled in Brooklyn, offers a striking ambiance with a beautifully designed interior and outdoor terrace views of Manhattan. Diners have praised the flavor and quality of the food, though experiences vary, particularly with service speed and drink preparation. While many enjoyed friendly staff and complimentary desserts for celebrations, some have noted inconsistencies in menu offerings and new pricing structures. Wobbly tables and overly dim bathrooms emerged as common concerns, leaving patrons hopeful for improvements. Overall, Gemelli remains a charming spot, ideal for gatherings, but with room for refinement.
Feedback
Nice, courteous and patient with my parents from the city when we came between brunch and dinner menu, they let us wait until the dinner menu starts with drinks. Tables larger than 4 are on the outside on the terrace in a closed plastic area with room heating. The tables were somehow wobbly and it made us spill a glass of water their fixation was to stack carton coasters under the table that fell and almost caused another spill. Maybe this could be fixed? The restaurant and bar inside is BEAUTIFUL and really beautifully designed. All our food was too late and they took it from our bill, and they gave us a free dessert because they heard it was a birthday. A real complaint, though the bathrooms are WAY WAY too dark. How so dark you can't say if you're really striving. I had to open the door to wash my hands. All agreed in our party (with many different aged eyes, from 20s to 60s! . Many Buschwick bars have dimming bathrooms (I get it, ambience, but that was just too dark for a bathroom, and especially one in a restaurant serving food.
For an undisputed Sunday early evening the service was somewhat slow, but pleasant server and the time between ordering and receiving participants was too slow. food but was wonderful
