Came here after exploring Greenpoint and it didn?t disappoint! Very friendly service and the food was delicious. Their margaritas were plenty strong as well!
I probably had some of the most authentic guacamole I've ever tasted. The tacos were just mediocre; they shouldn’t require two tortillas. A good taco tortilla should hold the ingredients securely. The drinks were decent but seemed a bit watered down. The shrimp tacos were better than the fish ones, and the shrimp itself was delicious.
Stopped in for a to go plate while hitting the road, and found that I stumbled onto a nice little Mexican spot. The guacamole is absolutely delicious, I?m going to have to get an order of guac and chips and dine in next time. Everything tasted fresh and that to me is always a number 1 priority.
This place was great! I went around noon with 4 friends and everyone thought their plate was great! I had the Chorizo Burrito LA Style and it was perfect. The rest of the table got Fish Tacos, Nachos Supreme w/ Steak, Mole Enchiladas w/ Shredded Chicken, and Quesadilla. Highly recommend.
The food is far from authentic Mexican food. Their idea of nachos is simply chips with meat and melted cheese thrown on top. What a shame! ???? The overly salty fish tacos were absolutely horrible. It seemed as though they had taken a paltry sum of fishsticks and just put a scant amount of lettuce and tomatoes on top of soft tortillas. That was absolutely sinful. I will say, totheir credit, their burritos were very good. They were acceptable. Their wait staff was very kind, attentive and accommodating. That's the very reason I gave the two stars. They are the ones that deserve any credit. This is establishment, however, deservesnone. I wasted $120 for horrible food. The decor is beautiful and the ambience is pleasant however that's where it all ends.Proceed with caution.
A colorful, Frida‑accented Mexican spot praised for fresh, authentic guacamole, well-priced plates and strong margaritas. Many find tacos, vegetarian nachos and burritos tasty and portions generous, making it good for quick drinks, takeout or casual dinners. Service and delivery are inconsistent—ranging from friendly and efficient to rude or slow—and a few items (chips, salsa, some tacos, drinks) can be underseasoned or watered-down. Overall a worthwhile neighborhood find if you accept occasional service lapses.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, but my most recent experience wasn't as good. That said, the food is still excellent and the customer service is satisfactory. I would still recommend it for a quick drink and a light snack.
Absolutely recommend this place! It's charming and has a friendly atmosphere. The tacos we had were fresh and delicious, and the freshly made guacamole was fantastic as well. The cocktails are also quite nice! It's a great spot to enjoy a drink at the bar or have a meal. Plus, they earn bonus points for playing good music at a perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation.
Delicious food and excellent service, never found such a great Mexican restaurant!

Overall, I would say it was just mediocre for me. The tortilla chips lacked seasoning, and the salsa tasted like sweet, chunky ketchup. The nachos came topped with melted cheese instead of the queso sauce I specifically requested. It seems the waiter misunderstood my question about the difference between the sauce and the melted cheese (which is also referred to as queso in Spanish). The chicken tinga didn't have much flavor either. In short, it was a disappointing experience with the nachos.
During our stay nearby, I stumbled upon this family-run Mexican restaurant and decided to stop in for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious! We received a warm welcome upon our arrival. Although the restaurant was busy, we managed to find a table inside. There were a few locals enjoying drinks at the bar as well. Everything we ordered was freshly made and served in generous portions. I had a shrimp burrito LA style, and it was outstanding.
Food was excellent!I had the Mexican flag burrito with carne asada. Very filling and very flavorful. Not too salty or too oily! The salsa was also very fresh.
Great colorful interior decorations a Frida mural are very inviting. Service was great and so was my Burrito with chips and salsa. Lunch offer was at a great price. Will recommend to friends and return next year when I visit!Food: 5/5
My wife and I stopped in for dinner even though the place was pretty empty, which could have beena bad sign. We were very pleased with the food. My wife had vegetarian nachos that were loaded including with spinach and I had tacos that contained a mixture of steak and chorizo sausage. Both excellent and reasonably priced.Food: 5/5

I had a fantastic experience with excellent service and generous portion sizes. The chips were delicious, and the birria tacos were outstanding. I do wish the horchata had a bit more cinnamon, but overall, I have no complaints.
The guacamole here is likely some of the most authentic I've ever tasted. The tacos, however, were just average. I believe one tortilla should be sufficient; a good taco tortilla should hold the ingredients together effectively. The drinks were decent but felt a bit watered down. The shrimp tacos were better than the fish ones, and the shrimp itself was quite delicious.
I visited this restaurant after exploring Greenpoint, and it exceeded my expectations! The service was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delightful. The margaritas were also quite strong!

Food came cold, there was practically nothing in the tacos, the guacamole looked and tasted like it was bought at Trader Joe’s it was not fresh. They also included an order from an Asian restaurant. This place is terrible. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1
I wish I could give Friducha more than five stars. The Frida Kahlo gazing at you, the mezcal selection, fantastic food and great service. Amazing! Also, I wish you would sell those T-shirts online! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cool atmosphere, people and food, was tasty but the chicken umm a bit hard, don't know if it's because it was just too processed but all cool, I'll recommend it more for drinks and chips and guacamole. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Parking space: Not sure Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah
