I absolutely adore this place! I make sure to visit every time I’m in the area. It’s a charming little shop filled with carefully curated culinary treasures. It's always worth the stop to find something new and exciting to cook with.
This restaurant is ideally situated for anyone looking to shop for ingredients for quick and healthy meals. The selection at the butcher is excellent and reasonably priced. The coffee orange tonic drink is fantastic! I've never experienced the combination of tonic and coffee before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it here. Although I haven't tried their breakfast offerings yet, they have a delightful breakfast menu.
This is a fantastic place for a variety of meats and cheeses, but don't overlook their menu! I tried the Marcel Jamón and the bahn mi-inspired sandwich, and both were incredible. I also heard great things about the breakfast burrito. I was really torn between six different menu items, and I believe they all would have been excellent. The Chai Oat was enjoyable as well!
What an incredible place to have in the neighborhood! Deli meats and cheeses are out of this world and the small grocery section is fantastic. The butchers were incredibly helpful in choosing a leg of lamb for a holiday meal. Next visit, I look forward to trying a sandwich or breakfast burrito.
I have to give a low rating even though their stuff is good simply because every single time I go, they mess up my order. No matter if it’s busy or slow, it’s always wrong. Now this would be one thing if my order was complex, but I am usually ordering 1 cold brew and 1 iced latte, sometimes a croissant. Of the 50 times I have gone in the past year, I am not joking, less than 20% of my orders were correct. The weirdest thing is that I will order a small latte (12oz) because I don’t like the 16 oz milk to espresso ratio, and I have actually been given a small cup several times but almost always I am given a 16 oz cup, filled all the way up. Maybe they’re often out of 12 oz iced cups? But if so why do they not tell you as you’re ordering? The few times our order has been right, it’s always the same person working. They have a mullet with bleached pieces of hair. Shout out to them.EDIT SINCE RESPONSE FROM OWNER:1. We love Heaven! Time for a raise ?2. I did not realize there’s only one size of iced latte. I’d happily pay for a 16oz latte but get less milk. Unfortunately I have also experienced receiving a 16 oz cold brew instead of 12 which is not the end of the world but is quite wasteful. Sometimes I get 16 and sometimes I get 12. I guess what I’m asking for here is better communication. It seems like when I order something folks don’t want to bother explaining that they are out of 12 oz cups or that there is no small iced latte. I worked in specialty coffee for years and it was part of the job to communicate with customers to clarify their order or let them know when we were out of something. Thanks
