Prompt service, and terrific back patio when warmer weather returns. Easily recommended, and I plan on another visit. We arrived via ride-share, so didn't have to deal with any parking challenges.

First off the wai... read more Discovered this restaurant via the Taste of Carroll Gardens food tour. It was one of the first places we tried and it set the bar pretty high. First off the wait staff was very welcoming, took the time to engage us and give us a little background about the establishment and the culture it represents. I really loved that. The decor really set the tone for an island experience with it being gaudy or like every other place. It was unique Now, the name begs a lot to be questioned because they are a Filipino BBQ which doesn 't really come off a boat. Anyway, I digress. We took the recommendation for the bbq chicken which was served on skewers. If you 're a king time NY 'er it 's chicken on a stick . Lol I don 't know how that meat was pressurized but baybeeeee when I tell you it was tender and juicy. The flavor appeared to be smoked into it. It was equal parts sweet and savory with a kick of spices. The serving was generous and filling. I ate that chicken like it was my last meal. Cannot wait to revisit for a wider sampling of the menu but if this was any indicator, I 'm sure I 'll enjoy myself and leave with a very happy tummy.

This is the perfect Filipino brunch spot with so many different variety to choose from. I highly recommend the octopus salad it was very refreshing. The portion are huge also and the prices are very fair!
