I use to love them before the pandemic, once covid happened their food has been a complete waste to even serve people spoiled food is crazy. The barbecue chicken is not suppose to smell like fish at all something was not cleaned properly in that department.
December 23, 2019 Monday. This was at the 334 New Lots Ave location.I placed an order for one chicken soup, no dumpling. and a small oxtail meal no plantains. When my order came there were two small soups. I told them I only ordered one. The woman looked real annoyed and told me she can’t take it back. I told her I didn’t order two and I’m only paying for one. She told me to throw it in the garbage which I did and she returned the money. When I got home, the soup had a huge dumpling and a big piece of red meat I was unable to recognize, it was not chicken. I tried calling the restaurant but the number was not in service. I had patronized this restaurant before and was very pleased with the food and service but this time the young man that waited on me had a very thick Caribbean accent and perhaps shouldn’t be taking orders. I barely understood what he was saying and maybe he didn’t understand my New York accent. The meal was extremely spicy and the oxtails didn’t taste fresh. I will no longer patronize this restaurant!I threw the entire meal in the trash and chalked it up to a class I paid for and learned a lot from it. $20.00 plus tax gone down the drain! YUCK!!
