Fifth Avenue Diner - Brooklyn

I went there for an early lunch with my husband. The service was very friendly, and the food came fast. I had the double decker turkey club and my husband had the pastrami decker club. Both were delicious. They both came with fries and an option of onion rings with coleslaw and a pickle. You can't go wrong for the price and quality of the food. Please give this neighborhood gem a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service and FOOD YUCK So on thanksgiving we decided to order 4 dinners because it was just easier for us, while we were catering to 2 elderly family members BIG MISTAKE The dinners were the worst meals we have ever had. The Supposed turkey seems like it was a sliced turkey from Cold Cuts The sweet potatoes looked like a colored pile of mud that was just disgusting. The stuffing well, that tasted like sand. EVERYTHING was just BAD. When I called to speak to someone that said they were the owner, after having a hard time with her, she said she will refund only 3 of the dinners. 4 days later and still no refund. Called today and she said Call your bank and get it because she will not refund it. Big big mistake dealing with this diner. Much better places around to go to than this disgusting place.

Classic diner experience. Friendly waitress, coffee refills, delicious pancakes. Would definitely come back :

Authentic. Quick. Diverse menu. Cold champagne beer and hot coffee. Delightful servers. Warm and inviting. Family friendly as well. Will be back!

Classic diner food! The kids enjoyed themselves. We had pancakes, fries, florentine eggs Benedict, waffles and Reuben. Only gave it 4 stars because their credit card machine was down and we had to run out and get cash.
