Edie Jo’s is a cozy Brooklyn neighborhood gem known for standout burgers, fries, coffee and a popular brunch. The beautiful interior, bar and indoor/outdoor seating suit date nights, casual meals and private events—staff can customize menus and handle decorations and AV for celebrations. Food portions are generous and often tasty, but seasoning, presentation and service can be inconsistent during busy periods.
We held our wedding rehearsal dinner at Edie Jo's, and it was absolutely perfect! Finding a venue in Brooklyn that is both available and reasonably priced can be a challenge, but we were lucky to work with Kit, who was incredibly accommodating with our budget. She allowed us to customize the menu exactly how we wanted, created personalized signs for the food and cocktails, set up a microphone for speeches, and went above and beyond in so many ways! The restaurant was extremely accommodating for our event, and everyone could not stop raving about the delicious food. There was more than enough to go around! Edie Jo's even closed off the entire space for us for four hours and allowed us to keep a few tables for hanging out after the event. We live in the neighborhood and have enjoyed brunch and dinner there many times; it never disappoints, and their fries are simply the best! I highly recommend Edie Jo's for a night out, and I also want to highlight it as a hidden gem for your next event!
Gave this spot a second try after we had an incident with our credit card and I’m glad we did. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the vibe was right! We were seated right away and had great service from a waitress named Brianna (I think) she was attentive and was able to answer all our questions for just about everything INCLUDING where we could be posters for our friends who are running the marathon! The food was good and the hot chocolate was bangin! Prefect spot to chill if you want to drink and eat at the bar, inside or outside seating and I think I may get that wallpaper that was inside the bathroom
I passed on by this place a lot because it looked like just kind of a basic New American restaurant. Not that that's bad, but just didn't pique my interest. Finally went in cause a friend and I needed late food and was incredibly surprised by both the quality of the food (the chicken sandwich and crispy brussel sprouts are tops) and the excellent cocktails. They've got really inventive plays on classic cocktails, like the Spiced Old Fashioned and some stuff I've not seen elsewhere like my current favorite, the Chichi Morada slushy. Every time I've been in the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. It's become a regular neighborhood stop.
Edie Jo's has it all! Solid lunch and dinner staples with excellent cocktails (especially house made ginger beer! . The staff are all superstars, and karaoke on Tuesdays is unrivaled in the community, especially if you like hip hop and r&b. The decor and ambience are also immaculate, and the large windows make it an excellent place to hang through the afternoon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30
Great place. Even better now that paper menus are back. The one thing I have an issue with is that there’s no service in there or barely. So ordering then, was hard. (Edie Jo’s responded to this and I can see where the confusion is no service as in cell service when it was a digital menu and yes, you now order at the bar. So hardly any 5G internet. That means NO HINGE, NO TINDER or ordering sacks of cat food to feed your 12 outdoor ferals, fellas! That’s fine though, just be in the moment with your pals or if you’re alone, then be alone with your thoughts and enjoy the taste. The food is very good. I got their burgers and their sausage and egg samich for brunch. Do it up. Don’t be a weenie. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fries, Edie Jo's Cheeseburger, Sausage Egg and Cheese Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: My friend is vegan and she didn’t cry about the menu. So we are good.
