Crawford's Cafe - Brooklyn
Crawford's Cafe
Description
A neighborhood cafe with an expansive menu, notable coffee selection and popular açaí bowls, offering outdoor seating and late hours that draw regulars. Staff are friendly and accommodating, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, quality control is uneven: some dishes arrive underheated, oversalted or undersized; there have been reports of burnt drinks and possible coffee-maker cleanliness issues. The spot remains a convenient local favorite, but expect variable consistency.

I don’t usually do this but 12$ for eggs and cheese on a baguette? As if they give you the full bread. Get off you’re high horse the cost to make that is less than half.
Worked at this establishment for two years now and I can say for sure that the cafe provides a wonderful environment not only for their customers but for their employees. Plus, their food/drinks are wonderful too! They always accommodate anything on the menu for the customers’ preferences and are such thoughtful people throughout!
I ordered a gourmet pizza, but there was nothing gourmet about it. For $11, I expected it to be heated thoroughly and evenly, but the mushrooms were cold right out of the fridge under the spinach and cheese. It was so salty that it was difficult to swallow. I would suggest the chef reconsider the balance of cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. Honestly, if they can't get such a basic item right, it makes me hesitant to try anything else on the menu. My friend ended up tossing her coffee after just one sip because it was burnt. Now I understand why the cashier asked her if she was sure she didn't want milk and sugar in her coffee.
