Cozzi Pizza - Brooklyn
Cozzi Pizza
Description
A nostalgic Williamsburg pizzeria serving oversized, old‑school slices, handmade sandwiches and pistachio gelato in a cozy Italian‑decor space. Regulars praise fresh ingredients, generous portions, speedy service and reliable delivery, making it a family‑friendly neighborhood favorite. However, recent reports cite uneven quality — soggy or hard crusts, oily pies and occasional rude service — and limited street parking. Prices span wallet‑friendly slices to pricier entrees, appealing to locals and students seeking classic, no‑frills pizza.

Unfortunately the owners have changed and I found that out after having meal here at Cozzi, after about a year of being out of town. The quality has just gone down terribly. Most of us know the infamous Dominic who has owned Cozzi pizza for so long with a reputation of being the go to pizza spot with nothing but warm vibes and great tasting food but now, I’m just at a loss of words. Watered down marinara sauce, really oily and soggy pizza and the staff is very rude. Unfortunate to see all of this unfold in a pizza spot I’ve went to when I was younger and grew up with. I wish Dominic and his family the best wherever he may be. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Hey this is Patrick again with another dope review! Lol. I wish I could keep this place to myself but it wouldn't do this place justice. I like simple and old-school style/ not over the top places. They focus on producing and maintaining their product, which is their pizza and food. Their slices are huge and delicious. It always reminds me of how pizza used to taste back in the day. On weekdays, the children from the local middle school 318 bombardes this place at 220pm and 430pm. But yet they serve everyone quickly. I love this spot. Also the workers there are super dope, patient and nice. The kids aren't out of order (kids are kids) and they treat the kids well. Wishing you continuous blessings. They love going here.
Excellent food! We frequently order takeout in my area, but the food is often overpriced, underwhelming, and lacks flavor. A few weeks ago, my mom brought me a pie from this place, and I was able to order delivery through Grubhub for less than $2. It arrived quickly and was piping hot! The quality and portion size were impressive. My chicken parmesan sandwich was delicious and enormous; the chicken was a generous, thick piece, not just a small, thin cut covered in flour. This will definitely be our go-to pizza place from now on!
