Description

Tucked on 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge, this cozy neighborhood café is prized for strong, well-crafted coffee, flaky almond croissants, avocado toast and decadent hot chocolate. Friendly, attentive baristas, varied seating, mellow music and magazines create a relaxed, study- and date-friendly vibe. Customers praise refill-friendly practices and occasional free pastries, though some note smaller portions, higher prices, limited milk/payment options and occasional early closing for cleaning. Overall, a warm, high-quality local favorite with a welcoming atmosphere.

Update, December 2023: This continues to be my favorite coffee shop along 3rd Avenue in North Bay Ridge, thanks to their fantastic coffee and friendly service. However, I really wish they would implement an option for electronic tipping. It would be a great addition, management! Previous review: Without a doubt, this is my top coffee shop in the area. The coffee is delicious, and the baristas are incredibly kind! Before the pandemic, I would spend all day studying and working here. I also bring my reusable thermos whenever I visit, which is great for both the environment and my budget!

I visited this café on a whim when a sudden craving for coffee struck, and it turned out to be a great decision! The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, and it wasn’t too crowded during my visit. However, I did find the coffee to be a bit pricey for the area. The service was good, and while the coffee portions were on the smaller side, the flavor was strong and delicious. Just a heads up—if you prefer skim milk, they don’t have that option. Overall, I’m open to coming back and would rate it a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

I visit quite frequently. The coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Upset to see Pro-Palestinian war propaganda on their counter today. It’s safe to say I will never again visit this establishment. Thank you, I appreciate you doing that. I do not support either side of the war and was upset to see this material in a place I have always felt comfortable.

The coffee is good the croissants are reasonably priced too. You can also do some work from there. It’s a nice coffee shop.
