**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** This restaurant presents a varied spectrum of experiences, with diners reporting both disappointments and minor praises. While some found the food to be mediocre at best—highlighted by mishaps like missing chicken in their chicken and broccoli and burnt spare ribs—others appreciated the generous portions and flavor of certain dishes, like wonton soup and sesame chicken. However, a recurring theme is the lack of customer service, with reports of rude interactions and a strictly cash-only policy. For those seeking a quick meal, this eatery may suffice, but many are deterred by the overall quality and service.

Was Nikki T at Choy Hing Kitchen a mag?
The portion size of the Shrimp with Broccoli is a bit on the smaller side, but I've tried other dishes here that had excellent portion sizes. I guess healthier options often come in smaller portions, unfortunately! However, the dish was very fresh and delicious. View all feedback.
What H V dislikes about Choy Hing Kitchen:
When I called to address the issue, the woman I spoke with was very rude; she wouldn't let me explain my situation and just hung up on me. I tried calling again, but she refused to correct the order. I wasn't even asking for a refund; I didn’t eat the meal at all. It seems they’re more interested in making money than in providing good service. View all feedback.
I ordered chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce over rice, but when I got home, I found there was no chicken at all—just broccoli and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was a strange bright orange color and tasted more like food coloring than actual garlic. I also got boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The spare ribs were burnt and dry, the rice had undercooked pieces of pork, and the egg roll was overly greasy. Overall, nothing about this restaurant was good—neither the atmosphere, the service, nor the food. It was a terrible experience, and I definitely do not recommend it.
I normally like this place because the staff is friendly. However, today my chicken was burnt to a crisp, and they just slathered some sauce on top to cover it up. It was so tough that I couldn't even cut into it with a fork.

The food was good, but they didn't provide any utensils. The spring roll was overcooked, but the shrimp was nicely cleaned.
