When I tried to order a drink, the bartender refused to wait for me and suggested that I go to another bar without any explanation. I hadn’t done anything to warrant that response, and I found it very disrespectful. His behavior was incredibly unprofessional.

Lots of different beers on tap, and cheap cans on hand, as well. The music is central to the bar. Covid has slowed that down, but the jukebox actually has a great selection of CDs, not an online service where anyone can make you suffer through any crappy music. I disagree with other reviewers and I think the crowd is real Brooklyn and it's much more integrated than any other bar around. The bar is large and so is the backyard with lots of tables and artwork. Cool vibe. Some pre-covid shots attached. See you there!

There is a jukebox but it’s for decoration only as customers are not allowed to use it.The bar has a known for its live music. Over the years we have heard some great bands perform here. If you are looking for fine drinks, good selection of wine and beer this is not the bar for it as they don’t have pro bartenders. But they have to offer is live music a few nights a week and nice backyard.

Bartenders are warm, responsive and... read more I’ve hosted multiple birthdays at Bard Chord. The live music is usually enjoyable and the drink selection is always decent. Bartenders are warm, responsive and friendly, and very accommodating when you bring your own food for a celebration. The space out back is Spartan, but great for a breath of fresh air, even in winter when the space heats up. The live music varies based on the night, but really amazing when your get a good band on a Saturday night.
