Chiko is a must-visit destination for lovers of Sichuan and Japanese cuisine. Renowned for its spicy Szechuan noodle soup and flavorful eggplant over rice, the restaurant offers delightful vegan options. Diners rave about the flavorful and well-textured white rice, along with generous portions of dishes like mapo tofu. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is fast and friendly. Though currently BYOB, Chiko is poised for even greater acclaim once it acquires an alcohol license. This hidden gem provides an extraordinary dining experience that promises to leave a lasting impression. Don't miss out—visit before it becomes widely known!.
An incredible neighborhood gem. I can't think of a better value for money food destination in NYC. Highest possible recommendation. A particular favorite is the spiced beef over rice.
The most delicious blend of spices in their spiced beef on rice. Service was kind and quick, can’t wait to come back!
Great food!! Definitely going back to get eggplant and chilly garlic sauce! Cucumber salad and chicken was also delicious. Sweet and prompt service. I’m happy that I found a great place to grab some food.
