We went last night and got the pork shoulder and mackerel. Both were ???. The pork shoulder was perfectly charred, juicy, and tender, and the lentils (cooked with lardo! were heavenly. The skin on mackerel was so crispy and the horseradish sauce was a delicious surprise. The space was a little loud, but the food more than made up for it! The staff was very friendly. We’ll be back. What Bijal Rana doesn't like about Chez Ma Tante:
VERY limited menu. We went for the famous pancakes as they were two large, thick pancakes with crispy edges. They were pre-syruped so they were a bit too syrupy and sweet for our liking. Definitely an overrated dish. The lack of options also hurt the ratings. Could not even get a side of scrambled eggs, had to order a quiche instead. I don't have enough good things to say about this place. I know it's known for brunch, but my gote dinner was impeccable. I have the martini that was probably the best I ever had (they have a unique infused gin that I believe) and eating was absolutely delicious. 10/10 experience, please go here.
The best restaurant in gpoint. Consistent eating is delicious. grillmeat and cod fish my favorites, and the Stratciatalla appie is the best dish I had for a long time. the bartender is friendly and attentive. large space
Absolutely delicious. the chips aioli and the pancakes are my all-time favorites. we get in the regular to share a few plates and so far it has nothing we don't like.
A great small place for brunch in the greenpoint neighbourhood, served on lush little sophisticated teller. my toulouse was excellent and beautiful paired with a plate of lenses. when they come here expected a big hearty breakfast they will likely be disappointed the tellers are a bit small, but for a refined take on brunch in a casual environment it is perfect.
