Was Michael Pham at Cent'anni a mag?

This place prepares their food hand made and slow cooked so in a sense it's homemade? Ordered the Risotto and Lamb Ragu which were the specials for the day. The risotto was creamy, the rice was cooked perfectly and it was very flavorful without being overwhelming. For the lamb ragu, the meat was tender, and the noodle was perfect. View all feedback.

What Wesleyan T dislikes about Cent'anni:

Although menu says the mussels are in white wine, it will come out with red. Chicken was over cooked and dried. I was extremely disappointed. Huge turnaround from my last post and many experiences in between. Don't you hate when you're go to place is now your place to avoid ? Also everything was bland as ****. Italian food usually is bussing out the seams with flavor. Total disappoint. I should've just grabbed a sand... View all feedback.

This as far as I know is the only Italian restaurant in the immediate vincity .and if it's not its definitely the most popular. I ate here once with my wife .I had my favorite spaghetti and meat balls delicious! But mostly I pick up my order .a couple of times I would just walk in and order in the early evening and there will be a male bartender who seems kind and I would sit at the bar and wait for my order . He will asked me if I wanted water and i felt relaxed. And sometimes I call and pick up the order. My wife's go to is the salmon I have nibbled on her salmon and it's great. The lighting is calm and low and the music is good. Go for a drink at the bar recommended ! Or eat inside but enjoy this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking, Paid street parking

Good place cute backyard seating. Attentive service and nice ppl. My mushroom pasta was good w the grilled shrimps. Calamari also good. Love chili flakes. Kale was also a good side for my pasta. No one else really enjoyed their meals tho, chicken parmis not good, the chicken is dry and taste like cafeteria school lunch pizza. Ragu meatballs was good, but the pesto couldve beenmore creamy.

We went for early dinner around 4pm. Happy hour is 4-7 but only in the main restaurant, not the garden. Ambiance is pretty chill, at least for that time of day. Everyone was super friendly and the food was great, good portions. We had spaghetti andmeatballs, Alfredo with chicken, the chocolate cake dessert (highly recommend), poached pear with fig gelato and port reduction(also highly recommend), and the lemon tart with raspberry gelato. The lemon was a bit sour/bitter, could use a touch ofsomething sweet, but not terrible. Would come back again when I’m in the area!

Reliably good quality unpretentious classic slow-cooked cozy vibes. This place is great for date nights, hearty family dinner, backyard patio brunches, solo journaling in the window bar, cozy group meals, anything you want. The Black Linguine iseverything. I’ve been coming here for 7 years just for this dish. I wish they’d put it back on the regular menu! But anytimeI see it on the specials menu, I jump at the chance for this delicious spiced tomatoey seafood glory.

The pasta was underwhelming. I’ve certainly had much better around town. The Buratta was a gorgeous serving and very delicious. The salad was also a bit underwhelming. The cocktails looked fun, but we didn’t partake. The staff was friendly andthe place itself is very cute. The backyard is definitely worth sitting in. Everyone was kind and attentive but the fooddidn’t make much of an impression on me. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying something else, but there isn’t much pulling meback aside from maybe wanting to try their cocktails. All in all, it’s cute and the staff is friendly but the food didn’tmeet my expectations.

Great happy hour. 4pm 7pm Negroni is good. Aperol spritz is good. Calamari is perfectly cooked. A light crisp and cooked the way you want. Recommend if you are in the area.

If you walk to fast you will go right past it. This subtle but has a big punch of romantic atmosphere. They also have a back yard area as well. I came with my family and we was not disappointed. Everything we got was delicious. The BLT was excellent and the pesto mayo was everything. I will be asking for extra tomatoes cuz they were roasted and fantastic on this sandwich. The bread was everything!! The ultimate brunch drinks were also tasty. The crostinis with goat cheese was sooo tasty...I want a drizzle of honey cuz I'm fat. But that one and the chicken pate were excellent. Whoevers grandma making the cheesey lasagna is heaven sent. This establishment was excellent...I will be back!!

This restaurant in Brooklyn serves the best Italian food in the area. Located on Franklin Avenue, it can be easy to miss, but it's worth seeking out. Despite being a small establishment, they offer seating in the heated and covered back area. I recommend making a reservation to avoid a long wait. While I ended up sitting at the bar, the service was excellent, but I would definitely return for a table seating experience. The lentil soup was delicious with just the right amount of flavor in each bite, perfect for a cold evening. The pasta dishes were also amazing and freshly made, staying hot throughout the meal. Amy, our server at the bar, was fantastic, providing attentive service and great conversation. She truly deserves recognition for her outstanding service.

Crown Heights, especially Franklin Avenue, continues to surprise me thus when my friends asked me where I wanted to dine for my belated birthday, this is the neighborhood I chose. Cent 'Anni* offers a rustic setting with wooden tables and high stools, a cozy well lit bar, booths and a spacious outdoor garden. We dined in a booth and must admit we got off to a little rocky start: the appetizer plates were dirty and there was a napkin on the floor under our table. The explanation given was we rushed to seat you . which didn 't make sense since I explained my other friends were running a little late). Cent 'Anni boasts homemade pastas and a delicious ragu sauce. They do offer a nice wine list. I was looking for a light white wine that was similar to Sauvignon Blanc and chose the Radicchio and my friend ordered the Grillo, both were dry, a tad sweet and excellent choices. The server allowed us to try both before ordering. We all ordered pasta dishes: Chicken parmigiana: two friends ordered this and enjoyed it immensely, generous portion of chicken and spaghetti. Spaghetti and meatballs: one friend compared this dish to what your nonna would make. Eggplant Parmigiana: my dish was a.. disappointment.. The eggplant was mushy and bland but the spaghetti was delicious. Desserts: the tartufo was delicious with vanilla and chocolate gelato in a dark chocolate shell. The tiramisu was equally delicious. My friends and I all agreed we definitely would come back. There is a Happy Hour during the week so this would be a great post work spot. Cent 'Anni is a great neighborhood Italian spot that will become a regular destination for my friends and I. *CentAnni means a toast to live a hundred years Let 's hope I live that long to toast. Lol!

This restaurant is a great choice for Italian food in the neighborhood, especially their fresh pasta. They also make their own limoncello! I've ordered takeout from here many times and have learned to always check my food before leaving. Recently, I dined in and got a seat at the bar, which was lucky since there wasn't much available seating for walk-ins – make sure to secure a reservation through Resy. The bar menu may seem limited, but you can order anything from the full menu without any issues. The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest about the menu. The Pink Moon cocktail was very good, and my partner had two Winter Rose drinks which were also great. They were described as popular and similar to a margarita, although I found the rosemary flavor a bit strong for my taste. The sautéed calamari was fantastic – well-seasoned and we couldn't get enough of it. We also enjoyed the sautéed kale side dish. The Parpadelle Al limone with grilled chicken was delicious; originally made with spaghetti, you can choose from a variety of homemade pastas and sauces. The chicken was added on and it was a favorite dish for me. The Shrimp Scampi was just okay – not life-changing, but still good. It didn't have the same burst of flavor as the calamari.

Gorgeous high tops, attentive and kind service, and delicious food. The ravioli with vodka was fabulous, the tiramisu was a perfect finish. They also have great espresso! Can’t wait to come back everything was divine. Romantic, decadent, and lovely.

Severely understaffed, poor management. Hostess and server apologized profusely, but just to get a coffee and tirimisu for a nice dessert on the way home was an epic saga. Muster patience if you want to give this place a try

CentAnni is my FAAAAVORITE pasta place in Brooklyn! Its also a great date spot if you ever make it in-person! My partner and I order delivery pretty frequently and it always hits!!! Its always super fast--This time it literally arrived within 30 minutes, and was still too hot to eat when it got here! The pesto orecchiette is to die for!!! I have never been much of a pesto lover but CentAnni has converted me!!! I also loooove their regular tomato sauce, though I wish the build your own pasta was an option on Doordash. When Im there in-person I love getting their pappardelle with tomato sauce. Anyways! CentAnni, Im your biggest fan <3

Pasta was overcooked, the sauce tasted like pasta water. Absolutely no seasoning. Even adding my own couldnt save it.

Pasta without bread? Yet there was an option for "extra bread" implying there was supposed to be bread on the side. Its late now I have to hunt for bread. Been eorking all weekend and so tired but w/e I should have cooked myself.

Delicious Italian food with generous portions indoor/outdoor seating in Brooklyn! I highly recommend making a reservation because they’re usually busy! They also have an amazing selection of wines! Perfect spot for a date night or drinks/dinner with friends!

Cent’Anni is one of our favorite places to go for brunch or dinner. Their outdoor setup changes every season but is always comfortable and gorgeous. The food never disappoints and the staff is always very friendly. I particularly loved their spaghetti Al limone and my husband loves their steak.

This place straight up rocks. Pasta is clearly homemade and reasonably priced. I had the ragu, which was excellent, but the pasta is good enough to stand alone with just the tomato sauce; for 15 bucks, that's one of the best deals in the area. Appetizers were similarly phenomenal, especially the calamari, which was genuinely some of the best I've had. Fresh, not fishy and the perfect amount of garlic delicious! Continuing the theme, the service was flawless. Our waiter was probably the chillest person I've ever encountered in NYC, yet didn't miss a beat with our orders or drinks. Just super funny, professional and mellow. All in all, Cent'Anni is a wonderful restaurant that adds so much to the neighborhood. Indeed, it's rare to find a restaurant that hits it out of the park on all fronts, yet that is precisely what this place does. Luckily for me, I live 5 mins away!
