Description

Casa Ora provides a varied dining experience, with some highs and lows. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with beautiful decor and exceptional cocktails. However, the menu can be uneven, with some dishes falling short in terms of taste and portion size. Despite delays in seating and lackluster service, the food is generally well-executed. While some dishes lacked seasoning, others like the paella and the empanada sampler impressed. The restaurant is a great spot for drinks and appetizers, offering a unique dining experience in the area. Overall, Casa Ora is worth a visit for a memorable meal with family or friends.

Where do I start. I let them know ahead of time I was back of house at another Michelin start restaurant in Brooklyn and that it was my birthday. I didn’t expect any special treatment or free food, just that they’d care enough to not put unseasoned foodon my table. First thing I see sitting down is a cute little paper sign letting me know I have 90 minutes to give the table up.Cool, that’s not a lot but also not a little amount of time. I’m sure we could fit the dining experience we were lookingforward to in that time. The wait staff was quick to come quick to leave, no explanations about the food or drinks given. Hugeturn and burn vibe. The food was bland and didn’t live up to the premium price we paid at the end. The rice was watery andtasted as if they forgot to season it. Everything was minimum effort in my personal opinion. The octopus was ok, but like youcouldn’t pickle it slightly or brine it for an hour or two? Just so let down. Wish I would have had my birthday dinnerliterally anywhere else. The decor was cool though. Good photo opportunities? Good drinks as well.

My roommate and I came here for the Family 3 Course Meal and it did not disappoint! We paired it with a couple of their cocktails which were super good- they have a fun list of cocktails going and our waiter was attentive and friendly when we askedfor his recommendations. The portions were a bit small for my liking but nonetheless everything came out delicious. I loveanything mushrooms and the main course was of course mushrooms and they seasoned it perfectly. We enjoyed the restaurant verymuch. I also think it's an amazing concept for them to giving back to the community by having complimentary meals so thank youfor this thoughtful and creative idea and having your customers best interest at heart :

We had a great meal here. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highlights were def the red snapper, ceviche and the tomato salad. Our server was really fun and engaging and steered us in the right direction as far as which dished to choose and how much foodto order. We accompanied the meal with a great bottle of wine. Highly recommend!!

My friends and I came to this spot having high expectations. We ordered almost the full menu. The empanadas and guacamole was pretty solid. For main courses our friends ordered the scallops, short rib, and paella. There were some other but those wereeven worse. Overall I’d say their food was around 2/5. I was disappointed in their cocktails. My party was 11 people and weall ordered different cocktails. Most of them were either gross or had almost no alcohol in them. We also ordered their fountaincocktail which is supposed to serve 10-12 cocktails but it was just juice and ice. When we asked the manager about the issue, they said that “I wouldn’t have ordered this drink”. We were shocked. The reason for my one star review is mainly becauseof the service and the manager’s attitude with our table. I am overall disappointed and I would not recommend anyone to come.I normally like Michelin recommended restaurants but this is not one. Do yourself a favor and go to the other amazing places inBrooklyn.

Had an excellent vegan meal here and we paired it with some appetizers and drinks. Every single part of the meal was a hit and let me tell you about these crafty delicious cocktails, they were everything. On top of that the staff was so lovely and theplace was beautiful ????? can’t recommend this place enough, it was our first time having Venezuelan food ?? Def a fan!
