Feedback
The French cafe in Brooklyn offers a mix of experiences, with some diners enjoying the picturesque dishes and others feeling underwhelmed by the offerings. While some found the avocado toast too sour or the meals a bit lacking in substance, others praised the delicious bouillabaisse and steak frites. The cozy interior and outdoor seating provided a charming atmosphere, though some thought the vibe didn't quite match the upscale food. Overall, the pricing was fair for the quality of the meals, making it a viable option for those looking for a French dining experience in the area.
My favorite place to spend the morning! The Petit Paulette le Bicyclette partnership is the perfect marriage. Incredible pastries, baguettes, coffee, and a low key atmosphere that's perfect for outdoor work. At night the cafe turns into Petit Paulette, a charming little natural wine bar with delicious nibbles. Very low-key and delightful. The staff is so kind and patient and they are understanding and accommodating to service dogs. There is a step down into the cafe so if you have a wheel chair, this could be an issue (unsure if they have a portable ramp). Bathroom would be wheelchair rollator inaccessible due to size.
Pro: I love to dine here for oysters with my pup. Sorry guy no happy hour oysters , owners are friendlyCon: Not a fan of their salmon burger. Tasteless.Im a fan of outdoor seating but this area has too much foot traffic and flies for my liking, the waiter aren't really attentive, ie i completed my dish and it was hard to get a check. Had to ask the busboy to request my check. It would had made an easy dine and dash based on how long i waited with my table cleared
Lovely evening, good vibe and wines (just wish the waitress had opened the bottle at the table, not before). ?
Ideal spot to drink outside with plenty of outdoor seating. Wide variety on the wine menu by the glass or bottle. The cheese and charcuterie board was excellent quality and generous portions. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Been here a few times, both for meals and drinks. The outdoor space is across from Fort Greene park and is relatively quiet despite being on the street. The indoor space is more intimate and you’re seated very close to other patrons which makes it a bit noisier when the restaurant is busy. The food was delicious, we got a mix of the steak frites, French onion soup, and foie gras. They have an extensive wine menu, so it’s a great spot for casual drinks on a nice day too.
