My Favorite was the langman noodles. hand pulled noodles with good texture topped with delicious meat and vegetables. Well balanced dishThe nan gusht A pan baked flat crispy bread stuffed with ground lamb. Had a fried dumpling like taste.Kashkar soup. Made of lamb meatball, sliced dough and vegetables. Looks like noodles but it's not. A comforting dish.Nan govurmasi. A type of toasted steamed nan bread topped with meat and vegetables. Bread was thick and soaked up all the gravy without falling apart. Super tasty dish served with bits of lamb and vegetables.There are a variety of nan breads in their cuisine bakes inside a tandoor ovenManty, a type of dumpling was great . The skin is a little thicker than a traditional dumpling. It was heavy and filling.Washed it all down with tea and compote a boiled and chilled fruit drink.Big thank you to Shakhzod who patiently explained and recommended dishes to us.Also had herring. It wasn't foe me, but my friend loved it.

First off, we've been going to Kashkar for my son's birthday every year for the past 10+ years, and my review for every year up to this one would be five stars.... read more First off, we've been going to Kashkar for my son's birthday every year for the past 10+ years, and my review for every year up to this one would be five stars. Food is great, unique, and worth the trip. But this year's visit four days ago was a complete disaster, ending in us giving up on ever being served after patiently sitting at our table for 25 minutes, and occasionally informing the waiter that we were ready to order, only to be ignored every time. We got there around 7:15pm and it was pretty busy, but there was one open table. While we were standing and waiting for them to clean it from the previous diners, someone at another table warned us that they were out of several things, but whatever, we love this place. We'd work around any omissions. We were given menus, and that was the last time they ever acknowledged our existence. While we waited, two women who arrived later than us were seated, given menus, and had their orders taken. Increasingly exasperated, we told the waiter that we'd arrived before them and had been waiting to order. He looked at us with a blank expression and then moved on. After waiting another 10 minutes, we flagged the waiter down yet again, said we had been waiting for 25 minutes, and asked him to please take our order. He once again looked blankly at us, said nothing, and then turned around to go do other things, at which point we got up and walked out. I'm giving Kashkar two stars because while they deserved zero stars for how we were treated on this visit, I'm hoping that this was just a new and untrained waiter doing the worst job he will ever do and they will be back to their five star form soon.

Everything was delicious and the decor was so colorful and cute. I love a mirrored restaurant wall always. And the grocery price stickers as the menu prices? Come onnn
