Brookvin is a nice neighborhood eatery that's been around for years. It has a full bar and a nice wine list. In fact, I'd categorize it as a wine bar. The food is good but it's mainly small plates that are made on premises in a small kitchen. If you're not up for a big meal, this place is perfect. The interior is nice but this time we sat in the garden which was lovely. We were glad we chose to go! View all feedback.
What David LaBarge dislikes about Brookvin:
Overpriced , great place to spend your paycheck on a few slices of cheese and wine you can buy anywhere. And if you happen to be disabled with a service animal, no garden seating for you! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $100+ View all feedback.

My husband loves this place and their mac and cheese. When they first opened the portion was large now it's small but according to my husband still very delicious. Service is good. Wine selection is great and the outdoor space is wonderful in warmer weather. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Good service and friendly staff! The appetizer I got was just to accompany the wine I stopped in for…the liver was dry and needed some seasoning.
Travelling from AU to Brooklyn, made this our local. Great vibe, several different spaces, friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed atmosphere with great food on the menu.
We had some great experiences at this place early on, but at our last visit in the summer of 2021 the Mac and cheese we ordered arrived frozen in the middle and we haven't been back since. Would love to come back again though to give it another try some day when we were only in the mood for drinks.

This relaxed venue features a fantastic backyard area that is covered yet open. Everything on the menu is of high quality, including the charcuterie. They offer a nice selection of wines by the glass, allowing you to pair them with various small plate options. The dark chocolate mousse is thick and rich, but absolutely delicious.
What a hidden gem in the neighborhood! I happened to walk in during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, inviting atmosphere, delicious mac and cheese, and great wine. Both the owner and bartender were incredibly welcoming. I've already marked this place as a go-to spot for bringing my parents, visiting friends, and my partner on future outings.
This is a great spot to gather with friends and enjoy some quality time together. They offer a solid selection of wine and small plates. The staff is friendly and welcoming. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, depending on your preference.
Very cute place. Nice and chill. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar tender and waiter were very nice and attentive. I recommend for a low-key wine buzz. They also do have hard liquors so don't feel stuck but just a wine option.
Brookvin is the best wine bar in Brooklyn! Excellent wine selection, good happy hour, the cheese is phenomenal and the bread locally sourced crazy delicious. Great place to catch up with friends, have a romantic date, or a solo glass after work. Plus their back patio is adorable for the warmer months!

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The French onion soup was absolutely delicious!
I love having Brookvin in my neighborhood! It has a warm and cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The service is excellent and always friendly. It feels like a pub with a fireplace! I bring all my visitors there, and it’s always my go-to place to grab a drink with a friend!
New Year's Eve in Brooklyn was a wonderful experience filled with great food and drinks. The atmosphere was fantastic, complemented by live music and very friendly people. Snezana and family from Brussels.
