Solid. Got the pepperoni Sicilian and a margherita slice. Both were good, paid $9.5 for them. They have mainly outdoor seating which is covered, but when it's hot outside there are a lot of flies around. So not great ambiance. Service was good? They just heated the pizza up and gave it to me lolwtf. View all feedback.
What Maya B doesn't like about Brooklyn's Homeslice:
Purchased the eggplant pizza and a meatball calzone. The eggplant pizza: 4/5. wasn’t bad, really tasty and had tons of ricotta cheese. The eggplant was dense and tasty, not too soggy but it weighed the pizza down so when I folded it up it fell off : could have used a LOT more red sauce. That would have made the $5 slice worth it. Ugh, I almost wish I asked for a cup of the sauce to go because my slice had barely any.T... View all feedback.
I don't understand the latest reviews, really. This spot is one of the best pizza joints in the city, hands down. Their eggplant pizza, the margherita and the vegetarian ones are my favorite! Don't skip their garlic knots
Coming from Chicago and having really good pizza there. I decided to finally try pizza in NY, someone that was showing me around told me about Homeslice. I decided to try it out and WOOOOW! Chicago you have some competition. I couldn’t decide what slice I wanted because they all looked great, I ordered a pie of margarita and a few Sicilian squares. I like this place a lot and I’m definitely coming back with my family
Solid slice. Not the best you've ever had, but better than most. The Sicilian slice is pillowy and crispy, just how I like it. Buffalo Chicken Slice is great too. They take a lot of pride in their slow fermented, no-sugar dough. It makes an excellent crust, but can be a little bland for me.
Ordered online via Grubhub. Food never arrived. Restaurant doesn't answer their phone. Grubhub says the restaurant uses their own delivery couriers and couldn't help.Service: 1/5
First time I came was in the middle of the night near closing time and they gave us the free pizza because they were gonna throw it out. The second time we ordered a pie and it was completely burnt on the bottom side.. we didn't want to walk back come back to complain about it.. pizza was still good. I'd just check the bottom of pizza next time. $35 for buffalo chicken, 2 slices is good enough for 1 person.. very filling ?
