Black Swan - Brooklyn

Nice British Sports bar in Bedstuy. The staff is super friendly. They always call your fast name. Reasonable prices on drinks. When the games are happening, everyone is cheerful, other times you can just chill. Great wings and fish chips

I 've been going here for 12 years. At that time it was one of the best bars in the neighborhood, but 2012 was a long time ago and that 's really not the case anymore. I was really excited when the Brooklyn Public House owners bought it, but there 's basically no resemblance between the two bars. The food at Swan is downright bad; pretty clear they just heat up cheap frozen food. Either there is no AC or they just don 't turn it on. They advertise $5 well drinks at happy hour, but if you add something to it (like getting a vodka soda instead of just vodka) it becomes a cocktail and then its $10. Not a ton of options in this part of the neighborhood (esp with Swell Dive closing) but maybe just walk an extra block to Do or Dive instead?

Classic sports bar with a great happy hour. I live around the corner and come in probably once a week since it's opened and always has a great time. happy hour $7 beer shots, $5 beers , $5 snacks all a good dral

Great steak frites! Fries that came with them were not great but the steak was fantastic. A thinner cut with an amazing chimichurri. Great for watching soccer.
