Was Greg H at Black Iris a mag?
The food was great! Service was good too. Went with a friend and we were seated quickly. The establishment was clean but we opted to sit outdoors. Food came out shortly after we ordered. I got the leg of lamb with some pita. My friend got the vegetable pitza which she enjoyed. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Black Iris:
Pretty mediocre experience. The server came to us immediately and asked what we’d like to order. We told her we’d just sat down and needed more time. Every server seemed pretty ditzy. The ginger ale tasted like canned Schweppes. The beets in the beet salad tasted canned. The hummus was runny. My lamb had no flavor and the chicken shawarma sandwich my partner ordered came out as a plate. Wish the food and service live... View all feedback.
I’m so happy that this place moved to a new and beautiful location! (Use to be on dekalb ave) Seating available indoor and outdoor so great for groups of people. This place has options for vegans and non vegans. I highly recommend the chickpea and spinach cold appetizer for the table, the falafel, chicken dishes, hummus and the fresh warm pita.Plus, the staff is sweet, attentive, and you can tell they really care about your experience.Vegetarian options: Several dishes available for vegetarians and vegansKid-friendliness: Stroller friendly and kids can run aroundParking: Spots available depending on the time of day but more so on weekends in the summer
Awesome food, amazing staff, the best vibes. Would absolutely come back and recommend!Food: 5/5
Delicious! Salmon kabob is the way to go. So tasty! Babaghanouj and hummus also great. Pita was perfect- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Chocolate mousse is the perfect way to finish a lovely meal. And they were so sweet to our dog too!
